Our company has implemented an integrated quality and environmental management system, certified in accordance with the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 standards. For metal structures and products, we conduct production process control in accordance with EN 1090-1, performance class: EXC3 (EN 1090-2). Our management system has also been assessed and is compliant with ISO 3834-2.
We are one of Latvia’s top 500 largest companies, awarded with Gold and Bronze tiers as part of the ‘Close Cooperation with SRS’ programme.
Jauda began as the Seļektro repair and technical workshop at Ganību dambis 19 in Riga and, later, in Ulbroka. It employed about 50 people. The workshop made electrical switchboard cabinets, separators, non-standard equipment, and repaired electric motors.
1961
In 1961, the original facility was reorganised as a Mechanical Plant and moved to its permanent home in a specially designed and constructed building at Kruspils iela 119, which still sees developments in production today. We consider 1 June 1961 to be the birthday of Jauda.
1967
Jauda (‘power, capacity’ in Latvian) got its name, together with its honorary status of an Experimental Electrical Structure Plant, on 1 August 1967. This is a word powered by passionate people, as a result of a major impulse, a desire to build an important, strong, and modern manufacturing field at the very beginning of the company that drives us to this day.
1992
A catalogue of the company’s products in English was prepared in 1992, heralding the beginning of work with international partners. In 1993, the company took part in its first international fair in Poland. This April, we were at a fair in Hannover, Germany.
2013
JAUDA receives a 2013 Export and Innovation Awards Certificate of Recognition for the DA24 fuse separator developed by the company.
2018
As part of modernising its manufacturing, Energofirma Jauda installed a P2L-2120 panel bending machine made by Salvagnini. The company continues investing in modernising its production and improving process efficiency.
2024
We have launched the long-awaited Jauda solar farm, with solar panels that have a potential maximum capacity of 430 KW. Making our own energy is a great additional benefit for the company and for our clients, because as we increase our energy independence, we cut the cost of production. Green energy also contributes to a cleaner environment!
