Objective of Privacy Policy

The objective of this Privacy Policy is to provide the data subject (natural individual) with information about the purposes of the processing of their personal data, the legal grounds for this processing, the categories of recipients of the personal data, the duration and security of data retention, as well as the rights of the data subject.

Scope of application of Privacy Policy

Jauda uses this Privacy Policy when conducting the processing of personal data. Jauda ensures that your personal data are protected in accordance with the provisions of this policy and the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. Jauda undertakes to take all measures necessary to keep your data confidential and to store them securely.

 

Purposes of processing and legal grounds

Jauda may use the personal data you provide for the following purposes:

 

  • Selection of potential employees when receiving your CV and application (legitimate business interest, based on data subject consent);
  • Formalising of goods sale and delivery transaction, and provision of services (for setting up contractual relations and fulfilling contractual obligations);
  • Ensuring safety and security on the company premises and grounds via video surveillance and access control (legitimate business interest).

 

Categories of recipients of personal data

Personal data may be transferred to third parties only to the extent and in the manner required to achieve the purposes specified in this policy, and to the extent that Latvijas Finieris is entitled or required to do so in accordance with the law or the contract concluded with you:

  • To government institutions, only to fulfil the requirements of laws and regulations;
  • To organisations and institutions as part of fulfilling a contract;
  • In certain cases, service providers may be hired as processors of personal data, whereby such service providers guarantee taking appropriate technical and organisational measures that ensure the protection of data subject rights as part of the processing, in accordance with laws and regulations.

Your personal data will not be transferred to third countries or to international organisations.

 

Personal data retention duration

Personal data are collected and processed only for the above purposes and only for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the above purposes, to protect the interests of Jauda, or for the time set in applicable law. Once the period for the use of the data expires, the data are deleted or archived. Personal data are restricted-access information that can only be accessed by personnel with due authorisation or who need access to these data for the performance of their work tasks. All personnel appointed/authorised to work with the personal data undergo proper training, in order to be able to protect data subject rights.

 

Data subject rights

You have the right to receive confirmation from Jauda as to whether or not it processes your personal data, unless you already have that information. You have the right to request the rectification, deletion, and restriction of processing of your data, to object to the processing of your data, and to withdraw consent to such processing at any time, without affecting the legality of consent-based processing that took place prior to the withdrawal of consent. You have a right to submit a complaint to the supervisory authority: the Data State Inspectorate.

 

Information security

Jauda implements and maintains proper administrative, physical, technical, and organisational measures to protect the personal data you have provided against accidental or illegal destruction, loss, modification, unauthorised disclosure of, or access to the personal data sent, stored, or otherwise processed.

 

Effective date

Jauda reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. The latest version of the Privacy Policy is published on www.jauda.com and replaces the previous version of the Privacy Policy.
