Compact transformer substations with a reinforced-concrete enclosure serve as an indispensable component of the modern power supply infrastructure. They enable efficient transmission of electricity and its distribution from medium to low voltage, which is suitable for such end-users as households, businesses, and industrial facilities. The cast reinforced-concrete enclosure ensures long service life and reliable operation. The transformer compartment functions as a hermetically sealed oil sump, protecting the environment from contamination in the event of a breakdown in the transformer. The reinforced-concrete enclosure and its door protect general public and surrounding infrastructure in the event of an internal arc or fire.

In order for the substation to blend seamlessly into urban or specific architectural environments, we offer a variety of facade finish options, for example, with decorative plaster, painting in RAL colours, or using various materials for the facade.

The KTAb-2434 compact transformer substation complies with EN 62271-202. Its enclosure is made of fire-resistant (REI 60) reinforced concrete.

An oil sump (100% transformer oil) and hermetically sealed medium-voltage cable inlets are integrated into the enclosure. The door is made of galvanised steel and has a polymer powder coating. The coating has an environmental suitability class of C4 as per EN 12944-2:2012, which ensures a service life of at least 40 years. The door has an RC2 break-in resistance class according to EN 1627:2021.

The substation is manufactured in accordance with the customer’s technical specifications.
