The KTAb-3042 compact transformer substation complies with EN 62271-202. Its enclosure is made of fire-resistant (REI 60) reinforced concrete.
An oil sump (100% transformer oil) and hermetically sealed medium-voltage cable inlets are integrated into the enclosure. The door is made of galvanised steel and has a polymer powder coating. The coating has an environmental suitability class of C4 as per EN 12944-2:2012, which ensures a service life of at least 40 years. The door has an RC2 break-in resistance class according to EN 1627:2021.
The substation is manufactured in accordance with the TS 1008 technical specifications of AS ‘Sadales tīkls’.
